I can't believe such an old service is being turned off. Must not have been paying the bills since they are now saying you can pay for their hosting services instead.

Dang, I used Geocities way back in the day. Reminds me of all the sites I had there as well as Homestead. I was even using the cjb.net redirection too. LOL I love thinkin of the old times. Not much is free anymore, even NetZero, it's no longer free but they kept their name LOL.

I remember Fravia+ teaching people way back in the day how to code your page so that the Geocities Ads wouldn't load...way back in the day too. Grin

those used to be the days, i still remember how we first started on lycos and we did get to rid of those ads... Cheesy
