I'm trying out Xandros (the open circulation version) to how well it works. It's supposed to be a good replacement for XP users.  Install was a breeze, and everyhting seems pretty easy to find. I still have to do some more testing to see how well WINE works and a few other things, but so far, so good.  Anybody else ever tried it?

24 hours in a day - 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

Yeah, it's a Linux distro.  Website's at: http://www.xandros.com/.  They have several commercial version, but I'm using the free one.  Haven't been able to get on it since my wife found out it had Galaga on it. She's been playing it and won't let me on. Wink

It's quite handy as I recall.

I haven't used it for some time, but I'm a full linux user. WINE is pretty nice, but there are some API's yet to be implemented, like some feteares of networking. Overall however it works very well.

Lets see some screenies!

And I do have to say, the more I use it, the more I enjoy it. NTFS support out of the box, WINE works well for most things. Apt-get seems even quicker than yum. Wink
